Windows x64

Download installer

Run Filex-<version>-x64.msi. Later updates install silently.

The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns you once. Click More info, then Run anyway.

macOS Apple Silicon

brew install --cask NayanVR/filex/filex

Installs with Homebrew. Filex keeps itself up to date after that. Then run this so macOS lets Filex open:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Filex.app

Filex isn't notarized yet, so macOS blocks it until you run the command above. Or skip it: on first launch, open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

Linux x86_64

Download tarball

Extract filex-<version>-linux-x86_64.tar.gz and put filex and filex-indexd together on your PATH, for example:

tar -xzf filex-<version>-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
install -m 755 filex filex-indexd ~/.local/bin/

There's no AppImage or distro package yet.
